If I can give you any advice for today, it is to stop what you’re doing and put on Fela Kuti’s Expensive Shit. The guy may have been a quintessential misogynist but he may be one of the best musicians and songwriters of all time. This CD has two tracks and is just 24 minutes long but it’s near perfect.
